In 1985, Ezio's older brother Jerry was struck with a diagnosis of sudden, early-onset Schizophrenia at just 12 years old — an event that reshaped the family's trajectory and ignited a lifelong pursuit.

Incited by this life-altering event, Ezio began exploring the question of what is virtuous intelligence and whether an alternative consensus paradigm could improve outcomes for a greater number of people.

To help ensure Jerry's freedom and bring attention to the issues surrounding mind health, in 1999 Ezio founded an award-winning, Northern California film and media company.

There he produced content for Fortune 500 brands alongside entertainment and narrative projects that bridged storytelling with real-world impact.

In 2020, Ezio committed fully to making positive, global change through a new venture: the Alliance for Virtuous Intelligence — designing next-generation civilizational infrastructure powered by an operating system that aligns human value with technological progress.
